MDS for beginners

I have undertaken to participate in the Marathon des Sables 2012, a 240km race across the Moroccan Sahara. The event takes place 8-13 April and consists of 6 legs, one of which is a double marathon of 90km. I hope to raise the maximum amount of funds for the Captain James Philippson Trust. This blog is aimed at sharing information with individuals considering running in endurance events, keeping my friends and family up-to-date, and raising the profile of my challenge for sponsorship purposes.
